admission requirements

Admission to the Biomedical Engineering Doctoral Program in materials science and engineering with a BS or MS degree in a related field (Physics, Chemistry, Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering, etc.) requires:

  • A minimum 3.0 GPA and
  • Where English is not the principal language, a minimum TOEFL score of: 550 on the paper based test, 213 on the computer based test, and 80 on the internet based test.
  • GRE Scores will also be considered for all applicants.

  5. TOEFL Scores (if applicable)
